Career Point Shares — Hockey Reference

This table is a snapshot of the Hockey-Reference career Point Shares leaderboard, exported May 23, 2026. It lists the top 250 NHL players by career PS — the same metric described in the methodology as the backbone of the Top 100 ranking.

Point Shares estimates how many of a team’s standings points a player was personally responsible for, combining offense, defense, and (for goalies) goaltending into one number. Goalies appear on the same scale as skaters here, which is why Roberto Luongo and Martin Brodeur rank among the league’s all-time leaders on counting value alone.

This is a reference export, not the Hockey Feature Top 100. Use it to see where players land on PS before hardware, playoffs, and era-adjusted scoring enter the composite picture.
